The successor to the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ, the TZ2 was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1964. Built by Zagato to a design by Ettore Spada, this car is a legendary berlinetta, remembered as the jewel of Turin.

Produced in extremely limited numbers and designed exclusively for racing, this car features a fibreglass body, which is lower and wider than that of the TZ1. Its design, characterised by an extremely aerodynamic ‘truncated tail’, was engineered to reduce the drag coefficient. Thanks to larger valves, the characteristic dual ignition system and the dry-sump lubrication system, the TZ2, weighing just 620 kg, was able to easily exceed 240 km/h.

The TZ2 is one of the rarest and most sought-after Alfa Romeos among collectors, an icon of Italian design and motorsport engineering from the 1960s.
