In 1983, in Brunello, a small village in the province of Varese, the MARVIC brand was born in a foundry that had been working with light alloys for over 30 years, and with it came Streamline, our milestone product and an iconic creation in our history.
Within a few months, it achieved unparalleled success. It made its mark thanks to its exclusive, minimalist and futuristic design, characterised by hollow elliptical spokes, and thanks to the significant reduction in un-sprung masses and the resulting, well-known improvement in performance.
Today, as then, they are produced using gravity sand casting, in the 17” size, from a magnesium alloy, and are suitable for fitting tubeless tyres. They are supplied ready for fitting, complete with only the finest assembly components.
The unique and unmistakable style of the casting, the complexity of its manufacture, the immense passion, creativity and craftsmanship embodied in it, in our view, can never be replaced or surpassed by even the most technologically advanced innovations. Streamline. To many, it may appear as just another wheel, but for us, it embodies the unique emotion that only something deeply personal can provide.
